Week 9

A little later than I would like, but life has been a bit hectic this week. Here is you week 9 round up.

The Three Cups are top of the division three table, they beat the DSAA C 8-1 to move four points clear of the Carriers B. The Carriers B do have a game in hand, they won 5-4 against the Northern Diamonds, coming back from 4-2 down to claim the win.

It wasn't a good night for the Carriers A, they lost 8-1 against the Phoenix St Pauls 8-1. The Phoenix moved up to fourth place just behind the Nelson who won by the same scoreline against the Old Endeavour.

The Sportsman sit in fifth position after their 5-4 win against the Eagle Drifters.

In division two the Boars Head C were 6-3 winners at the Phoenix Rising, they are top but still only by the two points as the Bull B keep on winning. They beat the Boars Head A 6-3. It was a good night for the Bull, as the Dogs were 6-3 winners against the Phoenix C. Dave Carter hit a 180 and Ricky Cook checked out on 103, both for the Phoenix.

The Boars Head B picked up their second win of the season, they beat the Admiral Harvey 5-4. Mick Barnes won the final game of the match to seal the win. They are just two points behind a host of sides on six points.

The Crown & Sceptre are up to third, they beat the Three Cups 8-1 and finally Tilmanstone won 7-2 against the DSAA Hope.

In division one the DSSA Oast were 9-0 winners against the DWMC A. Alex Mansfield hit two 180s. Not all bad news for the Workies though as the B side were 6-3 winners against the Crown Maddogs. Martin McNeill, Simon Annett and John Ross all hit 180s.

The Hairy Bull were 6-3 winners against the Diamond C, Paul Kermode hit a 180. The Diamond won 6-3 against the Admiral Harvey.

Second place Bull A were 7-2 were 7-2 winners against the Real Diamonds. Ash Battie checked out on 110, however he did lose that match 2-1 against Kerry Burdett.

Finally, the Old Endeavour were 6-3 winners against the Boars Head Arrows. There was a 116 checkout for Kyle Manton and a 137 from Ray Bourne.
