Week 6

A brief blog round up this week, I honestly dont have a clue where the week has gone.

In division one the biggest winners on the night were the Hairy Bull, 8-1 against the Real Diamond with a second 180 of the season for Keith Montgomery. They are still second, but have a game in hand against the Diamond who are top, they beat the DWMC 5-4 in another really good game of darts. Jim Penman hit a 180 for the Diamond.

Tony Selby hit a 180 for the Bull A, however they lost for the third time season, this was a 5-4 defeat against the Old Endeavour. There is a stronger Phoenix PD side this year, a couple of players added to last years solid squad. One of those is Steve Roberts who checked out on in their 5-4 win against the Phoenix Cups.

Morgan Scott hit his second 180 of the season, his Whitfield Club side lost 6-3 against the Crown Arrows.

In division two the Hairy Crown beat the Boars Head A 7-2, meaning the DWMC Maddogs are four points clear at the top of the table playing the same amount of games as the 2nd and 3rd placed sides.

The fourth placed Diamond C do have a game in hand, and they are also four points behind. They beat Tilmanstone 7-2 this week.

The Crown A picked up their first win of the season, they beat the DSAA A 5-4 and the Dewdrop sit third in table after another win, they beat the Phoenix C 6-3.

In division three the clear leaders at the moment are the Crown B and the Northern Diamonds. Both are unbeaten, the Crown won 9-0 against the Eagle C and the Northern Diamonds beat the Sportsman 6-3.

The DSAA C won for the first time this season, they beat the Golden Eagle 5-4, the Eagle are the only side in the division looking for a win.

The Phoenix Rising are moving up the table, they beat the DSAA Misfits 6-3 and have started the season with three wins and three loses.
