Week 4

Already we are a month in to the new season of darts, and we have some early pacesetter in all the leagues.

In division three, the Crown B and the Northern Diamonds are unbeaten, winning four out of four.  This week the Crown won 8-1 against the DSAA Misfits and the Northern Diamonds beat the previously unbeaten Hope 5-4.

Biggest winners on the night were the Sportsmen, they beat the DSAA C 9-0, the Old Endeavour sneaked a 5-4 against the Eagle with Kaitlyn Hilton winning that all important last game of the match/  In the final game of the night in division three the Phoenix Rising picked up their first win of the campaign, a 5-4 win against the Golden Eagle.

Top of division two are the DWMC Maddogs, they have won four on bounce but they are chased by the Boars HEad A who have won all three of their opening games.

This week the Maddogs beat won 6-3 against the Phoenix C and the Boars Head A beat the previously unbeaten Diamond C 5-4.  Roy Waymark won the last game in this match, Dave Buddle checked out on 119 and Colin Townley hit a 180.

Doug Isaacs of the DSAA A checked out on 132, however his side lost 5-4 to the Bull Dogs.  The Hairy Crown came from 4-0 down to beat the Dewdrop 5-4 to round of division two.

Division one, The Diamond have started with four wins out of four chased by the Hairy Bull with three out of three, they had a bye this week.

The Diamond won 8-1 against the Three Cups, or as we like to call it 8 Joe West.  There was a 120 checkout for Darren Hyder and a ton for Ben Baldwin.  8-1 to be fair was flattering to the Diamond with good darts all round.

The Crown Arrows beat thew Bull A 5-4, this was the first defeat of the season for the Bull and the firs twin of the season for the Arrows.  James Manton of the Arrows hit a 101 checkout.

Jason Davey of the Phoenix PD hit a 180 in his sides 6-3 win against the Real Diamonds and the Old Endeavour were on fine finishing form in their 5-4 win against the DWMC.  Ryan Lucas hit a 113 and John Hughes hit a 114.  John Ross of the workies hit a 180.

Finally, the Whitfield Club tasted victory for the first time, they beat the Admiral Cups 5-4.
